Terms of Use for Coconudge

These terms are an agreement between you and Cocoapps AS (org. no. 927386283) regarding the use of the Coconudge service. By creating an account you accept the terms.

1. About the service

Coconudge lets you upload your own study material and generates question cards using AI, which appear for repetition. The service is a learning aid – see the separate section on AI and liability (section 8).

2. Account and age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for providing correct information and for keeping your password secret.

3. Subscription, price and renewal

Coconudge is offered as freemium: a free basic version and a paid premium subscription (monthly or yearly). The price and what is included are shown before you buy. The subscription renews automatically at the end of the period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in the app; the cancellation takes effect from the next renewal, and you keep premium for the rest of the paid period.

Payment is processed by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record for the purchase (via the Link service). This means the purchase and payment relationship is with Stripe/Link, while the Coconudge service is provided by Cocoapps AS. Receipts, invoices and refunds are handled by Stripe/Link, and you can manage or cancel the subscription in the app or via Link. 4. Right of withdrawal

When buying online you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because premium is a digital service delivered immediately, we ask for your explicit consent that delivery begins right away, and that you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal lapses once the service has been delivered. You consent to this at the moment of purchase.

5. Purchases if you are under 18

If you are under 18, you may use the free version freely, but a premium purchase must be completed by an adult (18+) – a parent or guardian – who confirms this and pays. This is because minors cannot enter into binding purchase agreements on their own.

6. Your use of the service

You retain the rights to the content you upload, and grant us only the access needed to deliver the service to you. You undertake not to upload illegal content or personal data about other people, and not to misuse or attempt to circumvent the security of the service.

7. Our rights

Cocoapps AS owns all rights to the Coconudge service itself (software, design, trademark). The terms give you a limited, personal right to use the service.

8. AI-generated content and liability

The question cards are created by AI and may contain errors. Coconudge is an aid, not a definitive or authoritative source. See the separate disclaimer. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited; this does not limit your mandatory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes, governing law and disputes

We may change the terms and will give notice of significant changes. The agreement is governed by Norwegian law, with venue in Norway. If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the rights and venue of the country where you live. You can complain to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet).

Governing language

This English version is the legally authoritative version of these terms. Translations into other languages, including Norwegian, are provided for convenience only; in the event of any discrepancy, the English text prevails. This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
